Welcome to the website for Hou Koda District, Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Hou Koda, which means "Welcome Friend," serves the youth of Hendricks County and southwest Marion County in Central Indiana.

Hou Koda District also happens to be the birthplace of William T. Hornaday, one of the great American Conservationists in U.S. History.  Although never a Boy Scout himself, Mr. Hornaday lends himself to the youth of yesterday, today, and tomorrow as a role model and one who stood up for those who could not themselves.
