Welcome
Welcome to the website for Hou Koda District, Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America. Hou Koda, which means "Welcome Friend," serves the youth of Hendricks County and southwest Marion County in Central Indiana.
Hou Koda District also happens to be the birthplace of William T. Hornaday, one of the great American Conservationists in U.S. History. Although never a Boy Scout himself, Mr. Hornaday lends himself to the youth of yesterday, today, and tomorrow as a role model and one who stood up for those who could not themselves.
Due to zero registrations for this weekend’s Outdoor Leader Skills (OLS) / Outdoor Webelos Leader (OWL) and Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) Training, the training has been cancelled. These trainings will be offered again this year, dates have not been set yet. If you have questions please contact our Hou Koda District Training Chair, Rigo Rodriguez at (317) 839-6437 or rodriguezri1@att.net.
